Teen & Adult Therapy in the woodlands, tx

Compassionate therapy that heals from the inside, out.

Life doesn’t look or feel the way you wish it did.

  • I get it—your emotions can feel like they come out of nowhere and take over everything. One moment you're fine, and the next, it’s like a wave crashing down. Maybe people say you're being "too much" or "too sensitive," but they don’t see what’s really going on inside. You’re not overreacting—you’re overwhelmed, and you’re trying to cope the best you can. You're not alone, and there are ways to feel more in control without having to shut everything down.

  • Relationships—whether with a partner, a parent, or someone close—can stir up a lot. Maybe you’ve felt like you’re always giving more, or that you're constantly trying to fix things, keep the peace, or not be “too much.” It’s easy to get caught in patterns that leave you feeling unseen or resentful. And while you can’t control how others show up, you can start to notice your own patterns, set boundaries, and learn new ways to respond. You deserve connection that’s safe and mutual—and healing begins when you start showing up for yourself, even when others don’t.

  • Anxiety and depression can feel like being stuck in your own mind—spinning with worry, drowning in heaviness, or just going numb. Some days it’s hard to explain what you’re feeling, and other days it’s hard to feel anything at all. It’s exhausting to overthink everything and still feel like you’re falling behind, or to want change but have no energy to make it happen. If you’re feeling stuck, you’re not broken—you’re human. And even small steps count. Healing doesn’t mean having it all figured out. It means learning how to move forward, one honest step at a time, without having to do it alone.

I’m Alissa.

I believe you deserve to feel safe, seen, and in control of your life again—even when fear, hopelessness, or feeling misunderstood make that seem out of reach.

I am an anxiety and depression, family conflict, and life transitions therapist. I help teens and adults overcome fear of the unknown, hopelessness, or feelings of being misunderstood, in order to feel safe, seen, and in control of their lives again.
